1.If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what would it be?
I would like to be Wonder Woman: because she is the definition of a strong woman. Compassionate, determined, resourceful, outgoing, and most importantly, kind. She always chooses kindness, and to me, being kind is the most important quality someone can have. As a bonus, the crown that she wears in combat can also be used as a projectile. Now that's a crown that every Queen needs!
2.If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
A true friend is someone who is always there for you. Someone who is your biggest cheerleader, no matter what. They are there for the laughs, the tears, the excitement, and the disappointments. You know a true friend when you have one, and don’t have to question it one bit.
3.When do you feel a child or teen becomes an adult?
Growing up with anxiety, criticism is something I've always struggled with. Through the help of therapy, I've learned how to take criticism and use it constructively. I've realized almost everyone will have an opinion about you and your actions, but the only opinion that matters is your own. During pageants, what matters is what is in my head and in my heart. So now, when I receive it, I just use it constructively.
4.What do you feel you have learned in life that will be the most useful?
I recently put on a boys pageant for my senior class! I thought I would try being behind the scene instead of strutting the stage. Let me tell you that was a challenge working with those boys. Bless the International system for putting this pageant on every year: you are truly saints. But all the stress was worth it because the boys had a fantastic time, learned what it was like to be in a pageant, and we raised $2000 for our class!
5.What do you feel is the hardest job in the world and why?
Crying is definitely a sign of strength. When you express yourself and be that vulnerable with others, it’s a special thing. People cry when they are sad, happy, scared, or excited. Being able to show and handle all those emotions is a part of life! Like I always say, sometimes you just need to cry it out.
